1. Visit a Hippy market

Ibiza is famous for its hippy markets. They are one of the main tourist attractions and you can find them all over the island. The most well known markets are the Punta Arabí Hippy Market in Es Caná and the Las Dalias Hippy Market in San Carlos. Most markets offer everything from local gift and souvenirs to traditional clothing and fresh foods, and take place on several days during the week.

2. Golf

Enjoy the island’s breath-taking scenery wile playing a round or two of golf at the Ibiza Golf Club. The club is located in a lush valley near Roca Llisa and features a full 18 hole, par 72 course, a 9 hole course, a snack bar and club restaurant. Golf facilities, such as cart, club and buggy hire, and a pro shop are available all year round.

3. Visit Ibiza old town

This district Dalt Vila is the historic center of Ibiza. Next to its many cultural highlights, Dalt Vila also boasts a great number of museums, galleries and shops. The neighborhood is located on the higher part of the island and seems to rise above the blue waters of the Mediterranean. Impressive are the defensive walls that surround the neighborhood. The main part of the city walls, built in the 16th century, but also some remains of more than 2,000 years old, are still visible.

4. Water park Aguamar

Water park Aguamar is located next to the beach at ‘Playa d’en Bossa’ and is the perfect place to spend the day with the family or friends. Whether you’re into very high and fast or slower water attractions at Aguamar there’s something for everyone. Cool down in the relaxation areas and swimming pools or simply enjoy the sun at one of the sunbeds. For smaller children, a special playground is provided where they can play safely from the water.

5. Festivals & traditional local events

Ibiza hosts a great number of festivals and local events throughout the year. Visit these events and take the opportunity to connect with the local culture and mingle with fellow travelers and locals. One of the most famous festivals is Fiesta Medieval, which takes places every year in spring season. In summer, dance festivals are amongst the most popular events on the island.

8. Watersports in San Antonio

Do you enjoy sports? Visit S’Arenal de San Antonio, Ibiza’s main beach. Try one of the exciting sports activities, such as windsurfing, water skiing and jet skiing. Rather take it a little easier? There is also the opportunity to rent a pedal boat or sailing boat. Relax on the water or sail to neighbouring beaches.
